Cait + Liam ~ A woodland wedding at Happy Valley, Norfolk

What an incredible day at Happy Valley in Norfolk, a wilderness, woodland setting filled with huts and barns, the perfect backdrop for a sunny, wild wedding. Cait and Liam had planned every detail and the venue was filled with amazing suppliers busy prepping for the day ahead, as I walked around I found a flower and cake prep area (cake was made by the Grooms sister!), potatoes boiling on a BBQ, bacon butties and coffee being served for the campers in the 30 white bell tents and an all round excited energy among the trees. The groomsmen were getting ready in a shepherds hut whilst the bridal party had the more luxurious setting of Toad Hall, a beautiful stilted lodge in the trees. Cait was stunning in delicate, sheer lace and gold designer platforms! Amazing. Once ready, Liam led the guests up to the woodland clearing, like a groom pied piper, where the ceremony had been set and Cait and her maids met him at the 'alter' - a tree decorated with a stunning flower garland. For the evening they made their way back to the barn where they were served canapés and sharing platters of slow roasted meat, incredible speeches were given as cheers and roars of laughter from the Welsh and Irish families filled the barn. Following the amazing food, the ceilidh started, and what a dance it was! An absolutely incredible, woodland wedding with a beautiful bunch of people. It was a total privilege to capture it for them.
