I had the pleasure of photographing Emily and Andy on the coast for their engagement shoot, so was really looking forward to their day! The sun was shining on this beautiful October day and when I arrived at Pentney everyone was busy doing final table adjustments and prepping! Emily and her girls were having such fun popping champagne and getting their hair and makeup done while Andy was finishing his final checks in the barn. The day started off with a stunning ceremony set amongst the stone walls and old windows of the abbey, an incredible back drop for your 'I do's'! Andy had a face like the cat that got the cream as Emily approached him at the end of the aisle! It was magic. A drinks reception in the grounds followed, where we explored the amazing grounds and then onto the barn reception, again a stunning backdrop, filled with candles and guitar music. In the evening Emily's gorgeous dress transformed into a slinky backless number - helped by her maids! - and they danced the night away whilst and drank shots! It was an epic day with two absolutely awesome people!
